We decided to go on a camping trip with some friends for Father's Day weekend and we went out to Bartlett Lake. It was so crowded, with the water at 95% full they don't plan on letting out any water to give room for camping. We weren't able to get a spot on the water but our spot did have trees to shade us. It was the first time we didn't find a spoton the water and we left on Friday morning. We decided we probably won't be going to Bartlett this summer other than day trips, it is too crowded to find a camping spot, so we are on a quest to find a new place to camp. We are going to try Roosevelt Lake for the 4th of July weekend though. We did enjoy the trip however. I also survived quite comfortable myself so very exciting. My belly is gettingbig though so it makes it hard helping set up and take down but at least Chris is still able to take me with him. We are lucky to have pop up shades too, it kept me out of the sun most of the day but I was still able to enjoy the water when I wanted to. We took Mike and Cristi's boat out on Saturday, set up on the beach with the pop up, cooler, bbq and chairs. We had shade and could swim it was very pleasant. I can't wait to see what Roosevelt Lake has in store for us the next trip.
